Yes, a fatwa was issued by Al-Azhar in Cairo. I heard this mentioned by a guy interviewed on NPR today, before we heard about the attack in Kuwait.

my "little" brother is in Cairo right now...well, near it on an oil rig.....for another week or so. Hearing "fatwa" makes me even more nervous.

All Muslims should be barred from the US military, for this guy was following Islam, by killing the infidels, and the Quran has told him not to make friends of Christians and Jews. He was following his religion, but an example should be made of him to show what happens when you are a traitor to your own country.
