My charities of choice at the moment are myself/family and FR, nothing else to spare.

That said, I still think he's a nutcase. He may well be a Muslim nutcase. People like that, whatever their background, rationalize their demented behavior in any number of ways.
I do think he should be put before a firing squad, regardless of his motives.
