You saw a very distraught "father" saying that George Bush killed his son (although I don't think he actually said that). If my only daughter were killed over there, I would be so insane with grief I would be liable to say anything. I'm sick and tired of this father being attacked here. Why can't you let the man alone in his grief? All these comments about that man smack of "racism" to me...and that does seem to be a lot of that (racism) here against black people.

All of them? Really. Quite a perspective.

Three other Marines were killed, and not one relative blamed Bush.

Either he's immature, or he has a personal, political hatred for Bush.

he obviously wasn't so grief-stricken as to eschew entreaties from broadcasters. if he wanted to be alone with his grief, he pretty much blew the chance.

That idiot turned a personal tragedy into a political statement. Why didn't he blame the Marine Corps also?
That would not be political.

Re: Why can't you let the man alone in his grief?

Because HE chose to vent his grief on national television, THAT'S WHY!

If I lose my loved one over there, God forbid, I will NOT go on TV and blame my president.

The son volunteered!
He wasn't drafted!
President Bush didn't pull the trigger.
Therefore this rant was totally uncalled for irregardless. He was just grandstanding for his moment before the camera.

I'd say the same thing about an unpatriotic person regardless of race. I am an equal opportunity critic when it comes to patriotism.
