That statement should be stapled to the forehead or everyone at the Pentagon.
That's what I think, too. It's something that's bothered me for quite some time (well, maybe since I read that a Spanish translator in a US govt agency was actually a Cuban spy who was simply tossing out intercepted communications that were less than favorable to Cuba).
This is not a major thing that is right at the forefront of everybody's mind, like, say, terrorist attacks, but it is certainly something the enemy can use to get at us through the age-old technique of misinformation.
