It's impossible to debate them rationally because they speak in a self taught "newspeak", in which long held definitions are twisted enough to where they now mean two or three differing things depending on your point of view. On a duplicate thread, someone suggested the anti-war protests could become very ugly if we have to lay siege to Baghdad. That brought to mind something I read about the longest siege in history.
