Highway of Death was that stretch of road out of Kuwait in Gulf War I where we obliterated retreating Iraqi forces. The road was littered with smoking ruins of vehicles for miles and miles.
Are we creating a new one now?

Greta has ambulance envy.
In my dreams tonight I will be interrupted by Greta yelling at me to watch the ambulance.

Someone referred to Syria as "Terrorist Central." I think that inevitably we will go to war with them as well. That is one of the reasons we decided to take over Iraq, to get into position to eventually attack Syria.

Why is Aaron Brown going into this long discussion about the Vietnam war?
What about the 7th Cavalry Aaron?

Question: my local news coverage said "just in" a bunker of dead Iraqi commanders found ... soldiers killed them because they didn't want to fight. Soldiers have since surrendered. Anyone hear of this before? Links?
yes they had pics on another thread...
Thanks... this is the spot for answers.
To: GirlShortstop
...dead Iraqi commanders found....There is an ongoing thread about Iraqi soldiers killing their officers and refusing to fight.

We had a very similar conversation at work. The Iraqi High Command wants to secure their welfare so they're not torn apart by the mob. And the US want to take care of all they need to take care of around the country - Al Qaeda Cells, WMD labs, etc., before they declare the conflict over. So it could very possibly be all over but kept on the DL since it's a win-win for both parties.
