We will be busting their chops in Greeley and Longmont on Saturday and Cheyenne on sunday I hope to see all the FReepers out having a blast making the Peace pukes real sick. They can't stand us taking their corners and the attention that they would have got if we are not there.

Oh those peace-niks will be whining this weekend, TOO BAD!!
I am ready to take it to them and show support for our troops. GReeley, Longmont and Cheyenne get ready, here I come!

I dropped by the Greeley police dept. today and picked up another permit for our rally. Now we have spare permits if one of us can't make it!! The Greeley police are real proud of us for standing proud and a few of them may join us when off duty.

Get fired up! Get ready to grin! Blow those horns!! FReep On!!

If I had the time, I'd love to grab one of these photos coming out today of the liberated Iraqis dancing in the streets thanking the US soldiers, and make a huge new poster featuring that photo along with these words to flash to the Willfully Ignorant on the other side of the street -

These Iraqis are thanking our soldiers today, too!
If they visited the USA, they'd be standing over here.
Why aren't you???

Or perhaps if I wasn't feeling so generous -

Safwan, Iraq - 3/21/03
Joyful Iraqis celebrating our troops!
Why do you support their oppressors?
HAVE YOU NO SHAME?!?

Hello, my fellow proud Americans! I apologize... I haven't been online for about a week. I am not doing too well and am hurting everyday. My Marine left to go "over there". I am so scared. I want all of you Freepers to know that I believe God guided me to you all and this website. I believe that He knew what a source of strength and pride you all would be for me and that I would need you all. I accidently found your website a few weeks ago... How could I have ever known that all of you - many who I haven't even met in person! - would become a kind of a family for me. I can't even begin to tell each of you who dropped me a note and/or joined me at Buckley last Saturday, just how much strength you give me. THANK YOU!! You all are awesome!!!
I have to work tomorrow - trying to make up for lost blizzard days! I would really like to try to come out to one of the Freeps on Sunday. I am pretty new to Colorado and so am not familiar with streets and locations! How far of a drive is Cheyenne from Aurora? And the Capitol? Is anyone carpooling to either of these locations? If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I know being a part of as many rallys as I can would be very spiritually uplifting for me and it'll help the time pass a little more quickly. I need to be around you guys!
God bless you all and stay safe. THANK YOU!!! aloha

Thanks for troop support. 03/16/2003 - armymarinemom:
I got a phone call from the sand box this morning. My son said that news of rallies to support our troops has reached Kuwait. He asked that I thank everyone involved because support from home means the world to our troops.
They can hear you!

You folks 're probably wondering why I was only able to make the rally in Ft. Collins. Well, My Wife decided to come up with me and we brought our Son as well. On the way, she decided to drop me off and go get our Son a haircut. Our Son doesn't like haicuts.

Well...

She came by to pick me up around 2PM.

Covered in hair clippings, drenched in sweat, our Son in the baby seat in back with a really grumpy look on his face. She had the same look...

Note to self: Leave the 7-month pregnant wife and two-year-old Son home during FReeps.......

Needless to say, we went home after Ft. Collins. Sorry about that.

See ya in 2 weeks!

Well - you missed a great Longmont freep. I left at 3:30 & it was still going on! We had lots of new freepers & citizens. Just like in Greeley, the support from the commuters was really awesome today. There should be some great pictures coming up later.

I did take some digital pictures, but have never

Howdy lil'deber!! Welcome to our little band of patriots.
I saw you with the camera but didn't know you were a FReeper! I was the guy across the street with the rather large neon sign saying "Armed Forces, THANK YOU!!". I hope I didn't embarass anyone today, I was rather vocal to the peace-niks. I hope to meet you in the future, Thanks for coming.

I'll post my report of the two FReeps I attended later, I'm off to cook dinner.
All the Best

Thanks, Trteamer! I was going to come and say
hi, but I didn't know all who were FReepers.
I wasn't prepared with a flag or sign today, but I
just could not resist meeting fellow FReepers
face to face for the first time.

I have been part of FreeRepublic for about
3+ years, but just recently started
be brave and post responses.

Hope to see you all again soon!

Greeley and Longmont Report
It was a GREAT DAY FOR FREEPING, the support in Greeley was great we had more people than the Peace-Niks for a change. It was great to have so many new people come out to show support for the troops. The horns and thumbs up were more than the pukes could take they were awful quite today. It might have been because of our numbers today.
In longmont it was Great to have so many people that we took two corners and part of their side away from them. It was kind of like the push to Bagdad a few more and we could have drove them to Bagdad. We have never had so much support in little Boulder it was Great. It was so much fun we stayed one hour longer than we normally due. This crowd was also quite, but we were not ,telling them how they would not be getting any E-Mail thanks from their Daddy Saddam any more. They looked crushed. TO DAMM BAD!!!
We shall see most of you in Cheyenne tomorrow.

Greeley FReep Report:

I got the FReeping fever and arrived over an hour early and started FReeping in GReeley at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 34 and 35th Ave.. I took over the corner that the peace-niks like to use and immediately started getting massive horn honking and thumbs ups from the fellow citizens. I had a ball! I had out my LARGE sign thanking the Armed Forces and you could see it for a mile. I was by myself for quite a while and then I look and here goes this car honking like crazy and I recognize weldgophardline and family coming to help me out. Then I see a co-worker Todd coming by to help me out. Then I see mollynme coming by to help me out. Then two more of my co-workers and kids, then here comes CardCarryingMemberVastRightWC. WE HAD A CREW!! The peace-niks came on time at 11:00 and were stunned to see their favorite corner all filled up with FReepers.

The citizens of Greeley were extreemly generous with the horns honking and thumbs up today. Everyone was grinning which is what it's all about. We took over two corners and made the peace-niks march all the way across the intersection. They unfurled their big banner saying "NO IRAQ WAR" and looked really stupid as per usual. I hollered over to them that they were a little late. You know, I got so wrapped up in FReeping today that I forgot to take any pictures, but the rest of the gang took a ton that I am sure will be posted later. Greeley was a hugh success today and the peace-niks lost on this one. At about 5 minutes to noon we were informed that a funeral for a 16 year old was starting at the cemetary on the corner and they would really apprecite it if the horn honking would stop. We immediately packed up and left for our other FReeps. The honking stopped immediately since no one was honking for the peace-niks anyway.

Longmont FReep Report:

Longmont was AWESOME today. When I arrived I saw some protesters on the peace-nik side of the street and was just about to give them the one finger salute when I realized they were the good guys!! Just everyday citizens of Longmont that had arrived early with their own great signs and started a Support Our Troops rally, without even knowing that us FReepers were coming down. These people were fantastic to meet. Since we were there about a half hour before the peace-niks were due, I went on over and met them. There were some Marines (never an ex-Marine) and a really nice lady that was originally from Poland. She had fought the Communists and knew very well why we all were there. I FReeped with these newcomers and they had a ball honking my large bicycle horn and getting the citizens of Longmont all fired up. After a while I recognized the leaders of the peace-niks walking by and they were rather smart-assed about the fact that we were over on their side of the street. They went and got their pre-printed (A.N.S.W.E.R.) signs and came back to harrass us.

Anyone that has ever FReeped with me knows I don't take any bull from the leftists. This peace-nik leader dude wanted to have some dialog with me so I went along. He informed me that he was a Viet Nam Vet and so on. As I got to listen to him I realized why we never want to have the draft again. He was drafted so he went into the Navy hoping to avoid combat. He was a pacifist and very clueless. He really didn't know squat about anything. He doesn't watch TV, doesn't have a computer and just spouts the leftist bull right and left. He was really there just to debate his ideology and philosophy. He hated capitalism, Goerge Bush, loggers, oil companies, etc., He loved the U.N., couldn't understand the idea of liberating Iraq, and in general was an idiot. He got a real education from me, but I doubt he listened to a word I said. The Marines next to me were not quite as nice as I was! LOL!

Soon the FReepers started arriving on the other two corners. woldgophardline and family, mollynme and her parents, CardCarryingMemberVastRightWC, lil'debber, beaversmom and son, and a few more Marines, and many people I didn't get a chnace to meet. Then the peace-niks arrived, about a hundred of them I guess. Well Folks, today the peace-niks got a very rude earfull from the citizens of Longmont and they had to stand there and take it. We are rather close to them as the street is narrow. We made fun of their signs, asked they why they didn't have even one American Flag, told them how stupid they were. In general we gave them a REALLY HARD TIME!! The citizens of Longmont gave us an overwhelming response of horns blaring and big grins. The Marines were even more in their face than we were. The peace-niks were visibly upset by this but stood there and took the verbal abuse like the cowards they are. Oh Boo Hoo!

I made several new friends today. One really nice couple that was originally with the Marines came over to my corner and helped out. Her mom in California is a FReeper and clued her in on our Longmont Rally. Their brother is in the Navy and over in the war. I think they are going to come visit this post and become new FReepers. WELCOME TO OUR LITTLE BAND OF PATRIOTS if you are reading this. It was really fun to stand on the corner with you today.

At precisely 3:00 the peace-niks gathered in their circle to pledge resistance to our country. The Marines gave them a really hard time. We expected them to all leave like they usually do but sure enough some of them came back to the street for round two. Well, they got what they asked for. All in all they were lambasted verbally the whole time they were there. I had to leave at 3:45 so I circled the block, hollered "Peace-niks GO HOME" at them and got do do a load of my own horn honking for our guys on my way by. The FReep was still going strong when I left.

Thanks to all who helped out today, it was a gas!

All the Best!

P.S. Hope to see a bunch of you in Cheyenne tomorrow!
