From your homepage:
"to pass basic training and become an officer in the Marine Corps. Its a daunting task as I'm a bit on the skinny side, am in awe of the eclectic history the Corps has played in our country's history and consider the Marines to be the nearest things to Gods on this earth. But as one who feels it to be his duty to defend and protect his country I'm determined."
So .. did you ever become a Marine?

I live near the border and Reagan and the president's father tried to get the fence you want but the libs and the bleeding hearts wouldn't let them. They built a few miles of it here and the Mexicans can destroy anything, it was trashed within weeks. If they built a solid steel fence they'd just use a torch. Or they'd tunnel under. Mexicans will find a way to get into the US because Mexico is so awful unless you are one of the rich ones.

There's been a lot of bickering on these posts. Let's try to fix the problem and not the blame. Please. More information is welcome and useful. Let's watch out for each other now. LOL! I completely agree.
There are easy solutions that have been posted here and brought forth by many elsewhere, for years.
I honestly believe that the government for whatever reasons, has no intention doing it's duty and protecting our sovereignty and borders...The solutions are very easy and can be done at the borders, the work places, and in our cities and towns with reforms and policy changes, but the government wont, and has not done this.
I hope I never see they day when terrorist enter this country with very little effort, and kill hundreds of thousands of Americans...And if it does ever happen, the politicians and leaders of this country will be directly responsible due to their inactions, lack of concern, or whatever reasons.
But they will be responsible, just as they are responsible for the millions of illegal aliens, the crime, the fraud, and the lawlessness that we are living with today in America.......

That's just part of the distraction....

>> the government ... has no intention doing it's duty and protecting our sovereignty and borders. <<
Agreed. I think it's the lure money and corrupt politicians.
>> I hope I never see they day when terrorist enter this country with very little effort, and kill hundreds of thousands of Americans <<
I hope and pray I never see that either.
I dont trust the government for my protection, thats up to me. Part of that is knowing whats going on. I hear about news here 10 minutes to 2 days before I see it on mainstream media. Thats why Im here.
That and I can learn a lot too.

The latest is that I hope I don't wake up tomorrow morning with smallpox.

In the year 2000, over 200,000,000 trucks crossed the border.
And zero were used for terrorism. Great point.

That head would be yours, eggo. All those trucks...name one terrorist act they executed.
You posted a fact that blew your dull point.

I harbor no hard feelings for you, even though this post of yours was below the belt. I generally don't take kindly to reckless name calling and accusations.
I tire of ramping up to the point where I feel I need to combat some of the name calling and shallow insinuations. Don't like that syle. I generally don't take it.
I was speaking from my heart, for my country, if you will. I have no political favorites and don't run in groups on the FR.
I appreciate your input Miss, and thank you for taking your time even though we see things *very* differently....

Don't believe everything people put in their profile.
Regardless of what someone's profile says, if their posts sound like and express sentiments of the DU, there is a good chance the poster is a DU plant. Some of us have read enough of those kinds of posts elsewhere, to recognize them fro their tone. Walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it ain't a flamingo.
Can you imagine anyone, other than one of the professional Bush-haters, to post something along the lines of making outlandish statements, such as the poster you were talking about: screaming that the blood of innocents will be on Bush's hands and clearly hating Bush, but has not animosity towards the terrorists.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Fair enough. ;)

"And the "arrest the president" "blood on his hands" shouting is hysterical and sounds right out of DU."
------
BINGO.
When it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
Anyone who is bothered by the border security issue and illegal immigration, as most of us are, would bring that up as an ISSUE, instead of USING that issue to attck President Bush when we are at war, and fighting terrorism, and say the most vicious, ludicrous things about President Bush.
I think there are anti-Bush DU types even on FR, despite of the best efforts of the Moderators. Just as there are sleepers in the US, there are "DU sleepers" here, who rear their ugly hateful heads occasionally. They are foaming at the mouth, because the Iraq war is a success (may it continue to be so), and are running out of issues, on which to attack the President.

I noted from your profile that you are in Los Angeles. I find that extremely interesting.......
