According to available information, this morning during the invasion of southern Iraq a column of American troops, after moving about 15 kilometers from the border fell under fire from the Iraqi army and sustained serious losses. Practically all helicopters of the combat support units were destroyed. The White House is in complete disarray.
According to www.irak.ru, American troops were stopped by fire from a Malyutka-2 (Baby-2) anti-tank missile system of Soviet construction (NATO classification SAGGER). Fire also came from machine guns and small arms. A stroll through Iraq, whose troops, according to propaganda, are hurrying to surrender to the allies, did not come about. It has turned into the present war with blood and heavy losses.
This cannot be admitted the allies; therefore the American propaganda machine has already begun to conceal present losses. For instance, in the official version reported by American radio station CBS, "the first American marine was killed during the combat operations in the south of Iraq." The same was confirmed by Qatar's satellite television channel "al-Djazira", according to which the marine was killed on Friday morning. The television channel reports that a column of the 7th reconnaissance armored regiment, which is moving towards Baghdad from the south of Iraq, stopped in order to rest their Abrams and Bradley tank crews.
"To rest" is an obscure and comical term, especially when it is applied to the combat operations. Its appearance in reports can only testify to the complete confusion of the officers from the propaganda units of the US army. According to information just now available to us, the loss of the entire American column amounts to several hundred soldiers and officers.
Two questions remain. The first: how long will it be possible to hide the coalition losses from promulgation? The second: how will the coalition army react to the arising situation? We shall probably soon learn the answers to these questions.

What a bunch of tools.......that picture is how we rest on the battle field. I did it in Gulf War I....We would dig holes like that and rest or sleep for short periods of time......protected us somewhat....

Think about this, will you?
There is no Russian word for "fun".
That's their problem, ultimately.

I hope this crap gives Saddam a little comfort as he lies dying in a dark, dank Baghdad bunker.

SAGGER You don't lead with your heavy armor. Fast-moving scouts and Montgolfier balloons look for stuff like Saggers. Artillery and sappers destroy Saggers and other emplacements both mobile and stationary. Infantry and armor together. A team.

It's a sentence from a poorly translated Japanese game called "Zero Wing".
It came from a section where the bad guy, "Cats" says it to the "Good guy".
It was popularized by online gamers and then picked up by the general internet.

There is no Russian word for "fun". Vesel'e, zabava, razvlechenie, smekh, and radost' come pretty close, but require infusions of liquids.
I think the word we are looking at today is: zavist'
