So true. The racism south of the US border is ugly and violent, especially toward blacks and indians. It's such a crock how they cry racism when they get here.

After arresting and helping to arrest thousands of illegal aliens I have never seen any illegal alien prosecuted under 8 USC 1325 after entering the country just one time. A year or two ago we started a program in which we started prosecuting people that over 30 entries. The number has declined to about 15 entries for prosecution. The people that are being prosecuted are generally the guides or coyotes. Interstingly enough, deportees are not prosecuted unless they meet certain stringent guidelines. Deportees can commit any number of crimes, from domestic violence to carjacking without being prosecuted for re-entry after deportation. It really is difficult to prosecute.

Has anyone verified that the "guest worker visas" were in fact valid?

Tancredo Fan, what a great picture! Thanks.

Re #38. Well said.

I don't know who told you that one, but it is PURE B.S. We do not take shoes or clothing from those we detain. The only item we would confiscate is a weapon.
Please know the facts before you speak (or write)!

Referring to my post #74:
Please note that para C is italicized. This is the section which allows a citizen to search a detainee. The rest just happened to be on the page I C&P'd.

No-one in our group is expert at detecting false visas, although several of our members are ex-LEO and ex-military intelligence.
As for another poster's statement: The sheriff said the couple had picked out their assailants from photos. Couldn't have been mug shots as neither RR member has a criminal record. One is ex-LEO. Had to be photos taken on a surveillance of our operation. Not unusual. What is strange is that the couple wouldn't sign a complaint so the sheriff did it based on the word of two admitted criminals. We now have word from someone considered very reliable (the LEO's listen to him) that the sheriff was working in collusion with the Mexican consul to set up the scenario in order to shut us down.
This is not too unbelievable. The Mexican consuls around the country have encouraged illegals here to violate the law and have themselves posed as agents of the U.S. government in order to aid criminal aliens caught in the commission of a crime in this country.
And a note to those who have already convicted the RR members: Don't be in a rush to judgement. Your a** could be in the same predicament some day. Do you want the jury to hear all the facts before reaching their verdict? Think about it!!

Thanks for the ping. I heard that Sheriff Erasmo Alarcon is in cahoots with the Mexican consul in the area. Do you think it is possible that Erasmo is a traitor or a Mexican fifth columnist? Could that possibly be?

The clowns are the guys playing vigilantes, breaking Texas law, pistol whipping defenseless people, and the jerks like you who support them. You forgot to mention that these two Americans have been accused by known criminal invaders of breaking a Texas law. The key word there is *accused*. If the military were on the border we wouldn't have this problem.
To: Technoman
Casey Nethercutt of California and Hank Conner of Louisiana were arrested by Texas Ranger Sgt. Doyle Holdridge and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon and two counts of unlawful restraint for allegedly pistol-whipping and detaining a Salvadoran man and his wife early Wednesday morning. Nethercutt and Conner were part of a four-man detachment from Ranch Rescue a property-rights activist group which was led by Texas chapter head and national spokesman Jack Foote. The four-man contingent, at the request of rancher Joe Sutton, was here to prevent criminal trespassers from crossing Sutton's property.
I hate to say it but the Ranger MAY have a small point.
If the individuals that captured an illegal alien were working for ANY type of compensation (even bottle water donated by the owner), they were operating as security guards. CCW holders are expressly BARRED for security work as that industry jealously guards its position via bought and paid for legilature members.
It is right ? Hell no; this Ranger is being an a$$. Is it legal; unfortunately yes.

"If the military were on the border we wouldn't have this problem."
That is such a pantload!
Sell that to someone with the IQ of coffee grounds!
Just tonight, in the middle of the Ops camp in Kuwait, guarded by the 101st Airborne, someone snuck in and threw a grenade into the Ops center.
And you are still in here advocating your idiotic ideas.

This ain't Kuwait, sir. Americans seem to be getting fed up with the domestic invasion. The borders are wide open. Something is going to give, I suspect.
To: Tancredo Fan
"Americans seem to be getting fed up with the domestic invasion."
You speak for Americans now?
The borders are no more "wide open" than your mind is.
There are men and women patrolling them, and your idiotic insinuation is a complete insult to their efforts. You "cry" when they are wounded in the line of duty, and crap on their efforts with your idiotic mantra.
You don't like the results?
Fine...but don't insult them, and the collective intelligence of the people in this forum my making asinine statements like that.
This is now, and has always been a free and open society.
You want to destroy that by making us a nation where the military enforces civil law.
Not my country, not in my time.
