The Canadians fans should be booing their team and not the Islanders, as they fell eight points behind them for the last playoff spot in the East with seven games left. Time is running out for this once venerable franchise. Their success has gone the way of the Canadian exchange rate as of late.

To be fair, I remember pretty clearly the fans of the Detroit Pistons booing the visiting Toronto Raptors during the NBA playoffs last year. It's absurd - probably nearly all the players of both teams were American. It's equally absurd for the Habs fans in Montreal to boo the U.S. anthem (being played for the visiting Islanders) when the most players from both Montreal and New York are Canadian.

How horrible. Our President and our troops are doing something wondrous. They are excising an evil cancer from this world and giving a terrorized and brutalized people their freedom -- and yet these despicable leftist countries see us as monsters.
