It is incredibly powerful. You and I see it as a boy honoring his fallen father. Others might not see it that way though. I really just don't want it to be used to advance the anti-war sentiment.

Sadly, the soldier's father is the one who is blaming George Bush for "taking his only son." The problem is not that the father lashed out in his grief. The problem was the media tool there in the room milking a father's grief. That's wrong.
While this photo is poignant, it was probably taken by another media parasite taking advantage of the grief of others. At this this photo captures the essence of respect for a father by a son that sees him for the honorable man that he was.

It was on the MSNBC baghdad cam. I think it was an all clear siren, but I never heard the "alert" siren. This happened a little while ago also.

NBC is playing over and over its interviews with families of KIA Marines.
What will they do if 500 Servicemen die? What if 500,000 die? If 250,000 die? There won't be no room on TV for Friends or Reality TV to fit in all those interviews with mothers and family and friends.
God bless those boys. NBC ain't doin 'nuthing to respect them. They can't do it for one, they can't do it for 20, they can't do it for 10,000.

I have NO clue. Perhaps some kind soul will come along and explain it to us both.

I'm awed. We're taking a territory the size of California, averting oilfield disaters and other "landmines," and have accomplished 70-80% of the job in 48 hours (after 4 months of preparation -- did you read about the number of cruise missles/ordnance on the carriers? So many some are stowed in messhall! -- and I bet the factories are still on 24/7 production)

Fox: showing B-52's in Fairford don't know if they are taking off or coming in
