You know, the Turks really don't want to get involved up north. We already told them that we wouldn't tolerate dismemberment of the Iraqi state, and we won't.

So why are the Turks getting involved? I'm not sure. Anyhoo, I suspect we've got overflight rights through Israel, Jordan, and Syria. Yes, Syria. We made the Boy President an offer he couldn't refuse, I suspect.

E.D. pressed him on If France was wrong he ran for cover on that question!

E.D. really nailed Tom Daschle. She asked about his earlier placing blame on Bush's miserable diplomatic failure. HE said he didn't want to get into that. She said, very deliberately and not friendly "I wish you WOULD [get into that]"

Tiny Tom didn't eat crow, but agreed with E.D. putting words in his mouth that he supported Bush in this military action. Not the troops, Bush.
