We have officially asked the Kurds to help us. If the Turks attack the Kurds, they will be attacking US lead forces.
We will bomb them.

Sky news just showed video of Iraqi soldier walking through the desert waving a french flag. :)

Daschle backpeddling...must have read the home polls that told him to STFU.
To: Carolina
You know, the Turks
really don't want to get involved up north. We already told them that we wouldn't tolerate dismemberment of the Iraqi state, and we won't.
So why are the Turks getting involved? I'm not sure. Anyhoo, I suspect we've got overflight rights through Israel, Jordan, and Syria. Yes, Syria. We made the Boy President an offer he couldn't refuse, I suspect.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

E.D. really nailed Tom Daschle. She asked about his earlier placing blame on Bush's miserable diplomatic failure. HE said he didn't want to get into that. She said, very deliberately and not friendly "I wish you WOULD [get into that]"
Tiny Tom didn't eat crow, but agreed with E.D. putting words in his mouth that he supported Bush in this military action. Not the troops, Bush.
To: Carolina
Little Tom is being a lot more careful.....he must have taken some serious heat. He refuses to speak against the President now. About time he shut his mouth.
To: The Wizard

saddened."
