Peter Jennings just received confirmation from his correspodent in Qatar that Gen Tommy Franks is angered with the disclosure of certain strategic information by the US press that the press received as "off the record" background. Franks is no longer releasing the information.

There was no doubt in my mind that this would happen. Watch the subject reporter claim "he didn't know" and that would be the truth - ignorance which may cost American and British lives. I'll bet he was told they need more information back home since the "awe and shock" show they had anticipated has not happened and they can't hold their audiences.
