Thank you for your post 111. Prayers up for all involved and their families and friends.
Our Father,
We pray for these precious youth who went down in that Sea Knight helicopter this evening. Father, bless and comfort their families and friends. Take the souls of these soldiers to the best room in your Mansions of Heaven. Give them rest, comfort, and healing. Please tell them of our gratitude, respect and love for their sacrifice. Please tell them we honor them and shall not forget what they have done for their nations and for the oppressed people of Iraq. Please tell them that we know them to be heroes and we shall miss them.
Father, we ask that you will clear the way in this conflict. Please let there be a minimum of loss of life, we do beseech you, but only according to thy will. We are in support of our President and our Troops and the decision to spend the lives of these soldiers, if need be. Surround and comfort us in our loss, Lord, and let your Victory in this situation be swift.
Amen

I am so proud of all our troops who are rushing north, not knowing what awaits them, and for all those who are doing their part in the skies and on the sea.
God Bless them all, keep them safe and give them courage and strength. Prayers for those who perished in the crash tonight, and bring comfort and peac to their loved ones and friends.

Hi Kim! I saw your question about event updates. I think it is highly appropriate to post brief updates and links to events that affect the troops we are praying for! If we see events unfolding, I am certain that immediate prayer can sometimes mitigate a difficult situation.
Thanks for keeping us posted on this helicopter situation and any other event that seems relevant.
While I was skimming through the thread, I saw amom's comment that we are trying to keep the graphics from becoming too heavy. That is the only restriction I can think of at this point because not everyone has a computer that can handle those.
This thread belongs to our prayer circle, and all constructive contributions to it are welcome!

Sorry, I just logged back on. I did hear that 16 were killed in the Kuwait crash but don't know about the other. Prayers for their families.
Things look too easy now, with the tanks rolling accross the sand. Hope we got Saddam and the others surrender! Would be wonderful not to involve civilians!!

HI CHONG! Good morning to you! Glad you are warming up the choir and singing for us!
Glad you are hoisting the colors as high and big as you can! Good work! THanks for reminding us how important it is to fly those flags. I think many on this forum would join you in your gratitude that we are Americans or her allies today.
