Chafee (R-RI) Coleman (R-MN) Collins (R-ME) DeWine (R-OH) Fitzgerald (R-IL) McCain (R-AZ) Smith (R-OR) Snowe (R-ME)

Too bad about McCain. I was actually starting to like him.

These are so-called "Republicans" who are in thrall to the extreme environmentalist wackos, leaving their "Republicaness" on other issues open to question.

I always knew Snow and Chaffee were left-wing dirtballs. The others surprise me.

The Greens and other nutjobs presented a good propagandizing effort, apparently.

This was a campaign promise made by Norm Coleman and I respect him for doing what he said he would do.

Arlen Specter voted NO. Seems like he's more conservative than he used to be.

Pleasant surprise...

Might have something to do with the fact that he is expecting a tough re-election fight (I can't remember the guy's name; I think he is from Lehigh Valley).

If the world was perfect we'd have a complete lock step Republican group and they could ram through any action regardless of what the rest of the populace wanted. The real truth is that most politics are local and in the long run these people have to be elected thus they have to at least try to represent their constituents.

I would like to see it passed and with luck we may can see the numbers change with the election in 2004...

Its frightening that the environmenatlist wackos have convinced so much of the Ameican public that their radical, illogical approach to a very serious problem is the right way to go.

Its also unfortunate we don't have more conservatives (some Dems crossed the line to vote nay on Boxer's resolution).

Then, perhaps Bush could use a heavier hand with traitors like these Judases. Mark my words, they will defect on other issues also, from Second Amendment ones to judges, to illegal immigration, etc.

Joe McCarthy was a GREAT American. HE saw the threat of national communism and socialism rising in our schools and the entertainment industry.

Its a shame that he, and not vipers like Alger Hiss have received such a negative review from contemporary historians and commentators.

No, I prefer Guiness.

McCain was deceptively supportive of Bush on T.V.

I guess he hasn't changed his spots and beneath that presently benign exterior lurks the same loathsome reptile who created the campaign reform bill, who called for stricter gun controls on law-abiding citizens, and who tried so viciously to torpedo Bush in the general election.

He's marking time for the future, apparently.

DeWine is the one that shocks me. Coleman would have voted with us if his vote made the difference.

Looks like we were right the first time. It was the same 5 D's and 8 R's as last year (except Coleman replaces Bob Smith). I don't know where that article got 45 D's and 7 R's against, but they were wrong.

On 4-2-2003 I will submit my Statement of Candidacy to the Secretary of The Senate to become the first person in California to enter the race to replace Barbara Boxer in the United States Senate.

On 4-6-2003 we will be having a rally at The Hanger One Cafe at Hemet/Ryan Airport here in my hometown of Hemet, California ... the public is invited.

Please join the candidate, local officials, for this celebration with parachutes, airplane rides, free refreshments, Military Color Guard, and friends and family driving and flying in for this event.

The Airport Museum will be open from 10am to 3 pm and shows exhibits from the rich history of this facility that trained our pilots during WW11.

The official program will open in front of the Cafe at 3pm ... ALL ARE INVITED! Thank You ...
