I just wanted to put this out there in case any of you can make it to show our support for our troops, President Bush and the war.

Unfortunately I won't be able to go, but maybe we can drum up some people that could make it.

I called the local socialist public radio station last night and asked them why the hate America so much, we argued for an hour before he said it's all about oil and hung up on me. I purchased several canisters of pepper spray, if these idiots try and block my normal daily duties there getting a face full.

I wonder why they didn't say Miller Outdoor Theatre, if that is what they meant?

Sorry I'm not from Houston, I don't know where they were referring to or what alternate location that may be a codeword for.

I just wanted y'all to know what the sign said.

It is indeed the hump by The Miller Outdoor Theater. Back in the sixties they used to call it Hippy Hill. Every Sunday counter culture types congregated there to trade, sell, and take all different kinds of dope.

My family and I have dubbed it "Happy Hill" now. I can't count the number of times I've ridden down that hill with my two boys in their little red wagon. Quite Exhilarating!

That's probably what they have in mind for this afternoon.

No doubt about it. There also will probably be a little poetry reading, and some washed up who never was anybody type folk singer who will sing some tired old commie song by Pete Seeger.

Yeah, they had one downtown yesterday at the Kellogg Brown & Root tower. It was weak though....30 people or so. You just don't have the hippie liberal population you do in San Francisco.

I made it out there for a half an hour or so. Around 5pm there were maybe 100 people on the top of the hill. I did not hear any speakers, or see other organized activities. Most people were mingling around talking to others about how to impeach Bush and etc. I could not stay, and on the way out I saw a few stragglers walking towards the park.

As for a police presence, there were two mounties, a couple of bike cops, and a number of squad cars. I saw one officer in a "special tactical situation" jacket.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Telemundo 47 had a cameraman, and Pacifica had a reporter taking interviews. They were asking people how does it feel to be from the same state as Bush.
