Arlington Police and fire have blocked off Lynn Street and other streets in vicinity of Key Bridge. Looks like hundreds of police on the scene. So far no word on what precipitated the event, but this hasn't happened before.

Don't we have crowd control water hoses anymore?
How about job applications? Just have a low-flying police chopper drop job applications on the crowd. They'll scatter like crazy.

All the more reason to have firetrucks with pepper spray.

If I were a betting man, I would guess that the majority of them are used to being unemployed already.

Time to administer some wood shampoos, right?
Will the police give them lice baths in jail? If so, will some of them sue them for killing their pets?

How about a mixture of liquid soap and flea powder?

Just run 'em over, and make their families liable for the damage to the car.

On the other hand, if fewer folks get into Washington to "work on our behalf" at the Government, is that all bad?

Works for me.

Don't we have something we could put these unAmerican folk to doing....something constructive to keep them busy? Why didn't someone think to hold a giant peace-nik woodstock for this week? That way they'd all be in one place where we could keep an eye on 'em....

It would really bug me if some pampered liberal kid who has never had to hold down a job caused me or my family to lose income or vacation time because they prevented me from getting to work. These protestors have way too much time on their hands, most of us might like to protest for our side but we have jobs to do.

I got an email from one of my co-workers - he has a blackberry. They are trapped on the Orange Line train from Vienna into DC because of the protestors.

Dirty hippie disrupters maybe? Would you be able to smell them, from where you are? A COOL day for water cannon...
To: muawiyah
Can we borrow that bulldozer and the Israeli driver? That would solve the problem in a matter acceptable to me.

Tear gas will hang around and be very uncomfortable in this kind of weather.
