>>It was not as anti-war as I thought it woudl be.
You're not watching the same program I am. I'm watching it now and it's pure propaganda.
I think the poster was refering to the online responses to MTV's indoctrination (their poll, they also have message boards).

If I had kids I wouldn't let them watch that crap. The only ones who watch it anyways are morons. They're preaching to the choir. 99% of their audience is no nothing fools. They couldn't identify Iraq on a map.

"It is so tempting. Shows encouraging teen sex etc."
Sounds a lot like the educational establishment's indoctrination of America's children. It is past time to for launching a preemptive attack upon those who are deliberately twisting young minds and calling it education. Like with Saddam, we have waited long years for educators and the entertainment industry to repent and change their destructive ways. Our patience has only fortified their arrogance. Let's roll!

The public needs to be shown the connection between the dissenters and communists, marxists, and socialists.
Even the recent PC sounding "International Women's Day" parade/protest was a communist holiday that goes back to Lenin.
The democrat protestors say that they are not commies and not unamerican but those that they are marching with are and the public needs to be made to realize this.
Also, it is not a peace movement as the protestors support Palestinian war (including suicide bombers).
I wonder how many of the MTV "antiwar" crowd support Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders' outburst that she hopes the muslims win. At what point is the left willing to concede that some of the antiBush/antiAmericanWar protestors really are against the US and for our enemies.

I tuned in and it wasn't that bad---for MTV. Maybe the show started out goofy, but I checked it out mid-way and it was fairly well balanced---for MTV. I was seeing some pro-war comments, and the moderator/host was reasonably coherent. Again, nothing brilliant, but not too bad for MTV.
To: God'sgrrl
You gotta be kidding! Even MTV couldn't be spouting such garbage. Don't they know that the young people in America are MORE conservative than the older generation?
Idiots!

Haven't watched MTV longer than the half second it takes to scan past it in years.
But thanks to your post, I checked it out and got to see the world champion
PC Gamer prepping for a UT2003 tournament.
And, got to see the only guy to ever play a perfect game of PacMan.
Neither of them had an opinion on the war.

if a show is on cable, does it have the same freedom of speech rights as broadcast shows? could the feds jam MTV for a few months without having the lefties start crying about free expression? i think it's time we start to silence the daschle-clinton-mtv iron triangle.
