Protester falls from Golden Gate Bridge

An anti-war protester who climbed one of the towers on the Golden Gate Bridge fell into San Francisco Bay early this afternoon.

So the other one that pulled got too over the top, I guess. I thought some of the comments were hilarious. Tasteless, disgusting, insensitive, but absolutely hilarious...

This reminds me of a peace protest in San Francisco late last year. Some peaceniks rented a double decker bus with a sun roof to go into the city as a group. A man and a woman on the top decker took the opportunity to stand with their heads out the top of the bus as it passed through a tunnel under one of the hills in San Francisco. What these two forget to think about was that the tunnel had a steep decline in height at the opposite end. People on the bus said they heard two loud "thumps" as the bus exited the tunnel. They both died a few days later due to a "sever headache."

It does make you wonder if peaceniks are naturally stupid and if they take lessons to get that dumb.

What do you mean? What happens to the body when it hits water from that height? does it splatter like hitting concrete? or does it stay intact?

I knew a guy that fell from an aircraft carrier, and he broke his legs and arm in the fall into the water, but a carrier is not as high off the water. I heard of another guy that fell off a carrier, and he didnt break anything.
