15 Iraqi Soldiers Cross Border to Surrender

WITH THE THIRD INFANTRY DIVISION, Northwestern Kuwait — As more than 20,000 soldiers attached to the Third Infantry Division moved close to the Iraqi border — within sight of it, in some cases — 15 Iraqi soldiers guarding the border surrendered and crossed over to Kuwait this evening, officers here said.

The Iraqi people don't want to fight for Sataam. The US must give these poor schmucks facility to surrender in masses.

Soon to be granted asylum and permanent residence in the USA.

These are probably the same guys that tried this last week and were told to come back when the war starts. I guess this means it's official.

Don't be stupid, the French won't defend a good cause, the Iraqi's are showing themselves wise when they surrender.

I remember seeing a post that said they will be told to return to their barracks and stay there. That was meant after we have past their barracks I quess. These guy could prove a problem if we have to start suppling housing and food along with guards in our rear areas.
