MADISON - The "most trusted man in America," retired CBS Evening News anchor Walter Cronkite, put aside his journalistic impartiality Tuesday night and issued a blistering dissent to President Bush's decision to wage war with Iraq.
At a Drew University forum, Cronkite said he feared the war would not go smoothly, ripped the "arrogance" of Bush and his administration and wondered whether the new U.S. doctrine of "pre-emptive war" might lead to unintended, dire consequences.

Well... where to begin... Walter "The Most Trusted Man in America" Cronkite is at it again: revealing both his enormous ignorance and his bitter bias. Glad he no longer has much of a forum to get his idiotic ideas out to America -- let him mouth off all he wants to at Drew University.
Does anybody have an email to Cronkite so we can tell him what we really think about him????? TIA.

Yawn. Will someone buy the guy a new box of depends so he can keep wetting his pants in comfort.
To: ReleaseTheHounds
I've tried and tried and tried and I just can't come up with any circumstances at all that would make me give a rat's a$$ what Walter Cronkite thinks about anything.

The arrogance of this washed-up newsreader is astounding. First he insults our President, then our military, all while we're on the brink of war.
Hey Walter Mitty Cronkite - SHUT THE F@CK UP!

Carter the smartest president he ever met? Then why was he such a miserable failure?

"Most news people start their early years as cub reporters, covering the seamy side of life. They see the poverty. They see the want" - and as a result, Cronkite said, tend to favor the underprivileged. Swap out 'underprivileged' with 'underachievers'.

Dan Rather, on the frequency of terror: "Mr. President, if only you knew how
much I and others at CBS suport you rather than our Bush"
Terrorist Saddam: "Mr, Rather, it is absolutely remarkable that you media girly men
will repeatedly betray the USA, your President, and even the American people during war
for so little. We usually must gang rape a man's children and his wife, then burn and mutilate them
and then electrify his testicles and even cut off a few fingers before
he betrays his people. We are very lucky to have you and the other CBS fakers, Mr. Rather.
In the next few weeks, continue to undermine the US and Bush each night,
as you and CBS dutifully have done for us so well in the past. Have old man Cronkite
help too. Tell Walter to take a break from our project on Martha's Vineyard
where he fights alternative energy to our gasoline for us."

I heard Cronkite on the radio nearly a week ago, almost to the point of sobbing like he did after JFK was hit, claiming. "they .....are....trying...to destroy....the.. UNITED NATIONS!! (sniff sniff)

And just what did WALTER say when Clinton sent troops to Bosnia.....nothing, of course.
To: ReleaseTheHounds
This biased old coot made certain he was photographed giving clinton a ride on his yacht off Martha's Vineyard when the Lewinsky matter broke and routinely blasts Republican presidents every chance he gets. Whoever gave him the title "Most trusted man"? I wouldn't trust him to clean the bathroom.

If "smart" was the criteria for POUS then college professors would be running for office.........
How about LEADERSHIP, Mr. Crankcase?
Reagan had it, GW HAS it! Carter DID NOT!
