A prudent step taken to protect collateral damage to careers from stupid off-the-cuff remarks...

Stars Forego Red CarpetNo doubt there'll still be plenty of RED on display.

They need to be protected from customer dissatisfaction and boycotts. The terrorists love them! (Most of them)

In WW2 many Hollywood stars enlisted in the service. Jimmy Stewart even flew combat missions.
Now their response to the country being at war is to nix the red carpet walk. Wow what a sacrifice!

These self appointed pundants need to be secure from....? The South California chapter of Free Republic? I know they were planning on greeting the "stars".

I wish they would walk the red carpet..I would love to see just what they are going to do knowing we are at war..are they going to support the troops, skulk off for fear of losing dollars, or support their stand.
To: Blue Collar Christian
If they really want to show their true colors, they would be broadcasting their trivial navel-gazing events from Iraq.

Now no public show of stars on the Red Carpet. THE HUMANITY!!
I guess this is what code Orange means to them.

I will miss the red carpet. I am always amazed how people with relatively unlimited resources have absolutely no taste or fashion sense.
To: Blue Collar Christian
Congrats; give 'em hell.

Their self-sacrifice at this time is truly astounding. That they would forego this entitlement and intentionally diminish some of their deserved spotlight by giving up the red carpet, well, I'm just choked-up with pride!

There are still a few patriots in Hollywood, but the media have switched so far left that you and I will not hear from them.

Somwhere, Melissa Rivers is wiping her Mom's face with a rag whilst Joan, having drunk herself into a stupor, repeatedly blurts out, "WHO ARE YOU WEARING??"

They try to outdo each other to see who can be the most outlandish. AFter all when someone looks outlandish they get all the attention. Same old story...needy people.
Is this also where Joan Rivers interviews stars? She looks outlandish also and probably forgot she's not a teenager anymore and no matter how hard she tries...she never will be. Have you seen her eyes? Man, she always looks like she's squinting. Wow....
