Has there been any statement from the group to which Daschle was speaking to when he made the statement? Wasn't it a firefighters group? I bet they won't endorse that type statement in the least.

The group was AFSCME, the government employees union. They probably loved it.

They were all members of government agency unions.

He was speaking to AFCSME - a labor union - the only place he can play these days.
