French Want to Join War-If Chem/Bio Weapons Used by Iraq
CNN-just now | 3/18/03 | Mine Own Eyes

Posted on 03/18/2003 6:52:54 AM PST by Diddle E. Squat

Paula Zahn just read a story that in a conversation with between French and administration representatives it was stated that the French govt would consider everything changed if Iraq uses chem/bio weapons. Said that if this occurs the French would be willing to send anti-chem war support ASAP.

DO NOT LET THE FRENCH GO TO WAR WITH US.

Not only will they suck down and waste oxygen like french people do in general. They will claim some kind of victory from it and probably race our weapons inspectors to the sites where they know they sold illegal items to Saddam and try to destroy evidence.

They would probably also spy on our troops and give lots of intel to the Iraqi army.

"The froggies would be suitable for use in a suicidal infantry charge over open desert into fixed, well defended positions. Actually, I think they have some experience with those tactics."

Interesting to recall that when the American Expeditionary Force began assembling in France during WW1, the French were insistent that the best possible use of our troops was to attach them to the French army in small units, under French command, of course. American commanders simply didn't understand modern war, you see.

Pershing flatly refused, and kept our troops safely from under the command of the politicized, inept, murderous French generals who had driven their own soldiers to the edge of mutiny. Once the AEF was trained and went into combat under American command, their performance in terms of ground gained and casualty ratios surpassed that of all our allies and was every bit as good as the Kaiser's Germans (the most effective troops in the war until the AEF came along).

It is a myth that the American contribution to WW1 was peripheral - the AEF won the war for the Allies. It was crucial that the great Pershing had the backbone to reject French demands for command over our guys. The Wilson administration had some degree of sympathy for the French position - Pershing had to fight our State dept as well as the inept French butchers.

They know they are going to be left out of the oil deals, and now they want to be included by sneaking in through the backdoor leaving their Russian and Belgium "friends" without oil deals. LOL!!

Daschle cannot do that. Daschle had the top secret briefing reports - he knows what Saddam has but choses to play politics with our safety.

France Offers to Carry White Flags
In the latest developments from Paris, Chiraq has offered French troops to bear white flags for surrendering Iraqi troops "intelligent enough to leave the battle lines early."
"We don't want America having to bear such a heavy responsibility, as a result of their decisive actions against the Iraqi dictator and his regime", he stated, saying, "Someone has to do it and France is better prepared and has more experience in this field than anyone else".
"This action for the French soldier est vraiment naturel", he quipped.
Senior U.S. officials are attempting to shrug off the offer.

Thanks I have added Solid Works Corporation to the list as a division of Dessault Company.

If we find any WMD's thanks to France, we should drop those WMD's in Paris and other French cities and let their experts deal with them. That might stop whore$ like the French from selling to Killer/Thugs for the rest of this century.

In the meantime, each of us as American citizens can start our own personal war with the French without any governmental help, any grants or acts by congress!

Lets help this deranged and mentally ill country of frogs commit Financial $ocial $uicide.

Just $crew the Frogs with buycotts for the rest of this decade. Here is a simple list of products not to buy:

Let me play Devil's Advocate for a moment. Maybe we ought to consider letting the French in if they want to come along. They don't deserve it, but it would make Bush look magnanamous and take the wind out of the sails of everyone who says he has alienated our allies, etc. It also makes the French look even worse (if that's possible) because it shows beyond the shadow of a doubt to anyone who wasn't already convinced that their obstruction wasn't about principle or love of peace but just plain naked power politics. This may be a case where giving them what they want would be the best punishment of all. Any thoughts on this?

Excellent suggestion.

My wife loves Mary Kay products. We have several lady friends who are independent sales ladies for Mary Kay.

Any conservative woman who buys any more French Makeup should put a Red FW on her forehead.

Hm. Looks like it'll be damn hard to buy tires. Otherwise, I'm pretty good to go.

However, a question. Jameson's is an Irish distillery. While I am a consumer of their products, I've been buying more Bushmill's lately (another Irish distillery). While Bushmill's itself is not named here, one of their products, Black Bush, appears to be. Who owns Bushmills itself? I've gone to their web site and not found an answer.

France is now hinting it may have a change of heart only because there is a definite regime change about to occur in Iraq and the Kurdish Prime Minister Barhim Salih said that, post-change, any and all french and Russian oil contracts would not be honored.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/864879/posts

Enlightening, isn't it? President Bush had stated "Either you're with us, or...". I take the french threat to veto any/all U.N. language on Iraq to be the "OR". Since they chose that side of the fence, they'll just have to cope with the weeds in their garden too.

An interesting article and I believe important development. I suppose two things can be taken from this.

1) France has reason to believe that Iraq *will* use WMD and is distancing itself from Iraq.

2) France is attempting to "un-isolate" and minimize the position that she has taken in regards to Iraq.

Either way, it's an important development, as it means an important ally of Iraq is making it clear that Iraq will be even further isloated if it uses WMD. It is certainly an attempt for France to hedge its' diplomatic efforts.

Saddam is continuing to lose support in the world and this will weigh on whatever decision(s) he makes. It would be most helpful, from an international viewpoint of further isolating Saddam, if Germany and Russia made similar statements.
