I knew that Moore had fabricated some of the events, but had no idea that he had gone to this much trouble.

Awesome debunking. I sent something like this to my sister who raved over this movie. She is not speakign to me now ever since I told her what I REALLY thought of Michael Moore and how silly the liberal cause is.

Doesn't Moore come from the same part of Michigan (Flint?) that Madona does?
Add to the list of Michiganders that must have injested something in the air or water. I was born and raised there northeast of Detroit and I was not brought up like any of these fools!
M & M and his "8 Mile". I used to cruise and drag race on that road and it's nothing like M & M describes in his movie.
Baghdad Bonoir another Michigander fool and his treason.
John Conyer, fool number 5 or 6 and his "impeach the President" folly.
Calrl Levin andother Michigan fool and his total obstruction to everything in the Bush agenda that is good for our country...especially his judicial nominees.
Are they all going nuts up there? I'm now glad that I moved south to Virginia in 1973. I got out before they were turned into pod people or experimented on and brainwashed on by aliens.

I think the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences need to be flooded with this article so we can truly hold them accountable when Moore wins his Oscar.

I have been bombarded from a Liberal Arts Instuctor that (p)teaches Film to go see this "Documentary". I told him I thought Moore was an Idiot, Liar and fraud. And I also told him his movie was a reflection of the person behind it. He laughed me off. Claimed it was a great piece of work based on facts and I would get my eyes opened up to how the NRA and the Conservatives twist the truth and abuse folks.
I just sent him this little tidbit and asked him how many of his students did he give a unsatifactory grade for pointing out the FRAUD in this piece of garbage.
What a joke!

Most critics simply fawned over this movie. I don't follow the movie industry closely. Is Bowling nominated for best documentary? If it is, it's probably a cinch to win.

Anti-gunners lie.
They always have.
They always will.
No amount of truth will change that.

The trapping of Charlton Eston was disgusting, posing Eston as being heartless.
Then there was this racist anti-white cartoon with this codom looking character talking about the secret agreement between white Christians and the KKK to kill blacks.
Then there was the decrying of the platforming of the NRA right after the Columbine crimes, not mentioning that it was in response to the antigunners using the tragedy ran by sickos to blame guns.
Of course the bank giving the gun and being run as a gun dealer was a joke. It was a voucher in real life.
Interviewing wacko brother of McVeigh's partner as to represent the militia was stupid, kind of like calling Bin Laden's brother to represent muslims...
He did provide a pro-gun sugar cooki to trick soccer mums into thinking he was not an extremist by showing his NRA membership and other stunts.
But then he trailed off subject and went harpping against the show COPs (??) against corporate America, showed how he got Kmart to bend over after Columbine, talked about how the media sucks and tries to scare people with 911 and Y2K so that we can fight wars and bomb Saddam etc...
In other words, it was all me me me, vote for Michael Moore politics.... and of course, Columbine and the dead kids and the murderers were used for his platform and make his point, but the NRA cannot protest against this kind of hypocrisy, it is labelled hypocritical for doing so.

Excellent. Now, do I (re)start a big fight with my sister by sending it to her, or wait 'til she brings it up again?

Moore is a
propagandist. He tells his audience what they want to hear to keep them coming back for more. At the least I would expect balance in a documentary--stories like that of the Carpenter children who were killed because of California's child-access laws, or the Jews in Nazi Germany--but that would challenge the views of the paying leftist viewers, who might not come back.
This is starting to look a lot like the work of Bellesiles: fraud, lies, deception; profit.
