TOM DASCHLE BREAKS WIND
NEALZ NUZE ^ | March 18, 2003 | Neal Boortz

Posted on 03/18/2003 5:29:19 AM PST by conservativecorner

Could Tom Daschle possibly become any more partisan and disgusting? Read what Daschle had to say about Saddam and his weapons back when Bill Clinton was president:

"Look, we have exhausted virtually our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that, what other option is there but to force them to do so? ... The answer is, we don't have another option. We have got to force them to comply, and we are doing so militarily."

And what is Daschle saying now? Now that we have a Republican in the White House who is finally going to do what Clinton should have done ten years ago? Daschle says that he’s “.. saddened that this president failed so miserably at diplomacy that we’re now forced to go to war.” Wow, that’s quite a switch from his Clinton era pronouncements, isn’t it?

Daschle goes even further. He is getting on the bandwagon early to lay the blame squarely at the feet of George Bush for any fatalities American troops may suffer. Daschle doesn’t blame Hussein for failing to live up to his agreement to disarm. He blames Bush for responding to Hussein’s failures and threats.

Considering that the anti-Constitution socialist party of liberals, stand in the way of freedom for American citizen, expect to hear more lies.

The "THE VAST LEFT WING CONSPIRACY" led by the Clintons, do what they always do blame the "RIGHT" for what they are guilty of.

The Clintons and their worshipers of socialism are accountable for every loss we incur, because they have been the supporters of Saddam.

Time to call them to account for their evil deeds.

Here's the letter I sent to the Argus Leader regarding Sen. Daschle:
----------------------------

Dear South Dakotans,

You have a fine state and much to be proud of, but your continued support of Senator Tom Daschle does dishonor to your values and your heritage. His continued obstruction of Miguel Estrada and his recent, shrill derision of President Bush's efforts to make the U.N. lives by its words regarding Iraq make him an object of nation-wide distaste.

Does it trouble you to think that a senator gets elected in South Dakota but receives his marching orders from the liberal enclaves of Washington and New York City? It should. Does it trouble you that he makes every effort to obstruct the efforts of a fair-minded president your state voted for by a margin of 60% to 38%? It should. Your values are worth more than lip-service every six years.

I ask you in all sincerity to exert whatever pressure you can to persuade Senator Daschle to work with rather than against President Bush. I ask that you ensure he reflects your values and that you chide him when he does not, through petitions and candid town-hall forums. His shrill and obstructionist actions are affecting citizens all across the USA, and I hope you will call him to task for impeding the business of the nation and for undermining the authority of the president in a time of crisis.

With all respect to the citizens of South Dakota, I feel that there is a disconnect between their values and their representation that needs to be addressed, for the good of the whole nation.

Thank you.

Daschle is putting himself up as the sacrificial lamb for the next election cycle. That's the only explanation I have for this suicidal behaviour of his.

Does anyone have a complete, accurate transcript of Daschle's comments....I need the verbatim on his comments about soldiers' dying being Bush's fault.

Ahhhhh - I spent many a Saturday at the DZs on the backside of Bragg. Picnicing and re-packing...

Kids loved it while FrogDad would go up and throw himself out of anything that flew.

He, too, did DS. Thank you both.

I've heard Sean Hannity mention doing a Lexus Nexus search when he's tracking down comments -- I have no idea how to do one -- if anyone does, please post.

This whole situation is giving me flashbacks, by the way.

I walked in from work around 5 one day and my Mother and tadpoles were sitting on the couch. My eldest said, "Sit down, Mom, the war just started." Of course, didn't have FR, then, only had CNN. My TV was on the news 24-7 - I even slept with it on. The tone of voices would wake me up if anything "exciting" happened. Left tapes running in the VCR when I'd go to work for a scan that night.

Would sit down every night and write up the day's events to mail the next AM to FrogDad. He didn't miss any family "happenings" while he was gone, he got a daily report, albeit a little later than they happened.

Now he's retired from the Army but is teaching MI to new troops.

God bless these men and women.

Even the Sioux Falls Argus Leader has Daschle coming off like the whiner he is.
