March 18, 2003 -- Protesters in Manhattan and the Gaza Strip carried mock tombstones and coffins yesterday to protest the death of Rachel Corrie, a U.S. peace activist who acted as a "human shield" at a Palestinian refugee camp.
Corrie, 23, died Sunday when she tried to stop an Israeli bulldozer from tearing down a doctor's house in Rafah.

Fire burns. Falling from heights can kill you. Do not trust strangers. Wear your safety belt. Do not use electrial appliances while taking a bath. Beware of the dog. Do not take without consulting your doctor. Wear a life jacket. Slippery when wet.
Most important of all; do not sit down in front of earth moving machinery becasue the driver may not see you.
Duh!

How was the bulldozer guy supposed to know she was an American. But agree how stupid to stand in front of earth moving equipment any place in the world.

Suicide. Too bad. So what?

After an exhaustive Congressional investigation (at the cost of $25M), the following statement was issued:
DON'T PLAY CHICKEN WITH A BULLDOZER.

How come PLO chairman and the other murders in charge never convince their own children what a wonderful opportunity it is to die for the cause?
Any group that is funded by the PLO is a factory to produce murders and suicides.

Exactly! And, just cuz she's an American, irresponsibly sticking her now flattened nose in front of a dozer, well, taxpayer money should not be "wasted" on yet another idiotic "bad choice".

What's there to investigate? She got her dumbass self runned over by a dozer. As far as I'm concerned, she was interfering with Israel's National Security operations. I'll bet ain't no one gonna step in front of another dozer in Gaza.

I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for anybody who stands in front of a bulldozer or other equipment.

I think it would be good to relate the entire story of Rachel Corrie. How she became a big in the Seattle peace movement; how she came to fetched up in Gaza to teach Palestinian kids to burn American flags; and how she came to be overtaken and run down by a bulldozer moving at 3 miles per hour.
A smart lawyer might be able to describe every single step of the process that took a girl and put her under a bulldozer. What words her mentors whispered in her ears. What she learned in conciousness raising groups. What literature she read. Who paid for her ticket. Whose idea the tactic of blocking a bulldozer was. What the photographer who took her picture was doing as the steel juggernaut advanced. What her "comrades" were doing as the blade advanced. Whether they rejoiced at the public relations opportunity her death would bring. The story of every single step; the omission of but one would have broken the chain.
Her mentors have names. Her reading matter titles. Her funding provenance. And they should see the light of day, after all long concealment in the darkness.

In a rational society, you would have just described a mini-series. Were educrats sane, it would be required viewing in all schools.

About 250 demonstrators held a mock funeral procession from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's Midtown office, where they demanded a congressional investigation of the incident. Actually, I'd be OK with an investigation under two conditions.
1. These guys pay for it.
2. Hillary and other Congressional Democrats act as human shields for the investigators in case some Palestinians decide to act like terrorists.

What really pisses me off about this whole thing, is the way the media has run with this story and given it legs that it doesn't deserve.
If it had been a pro-lifer that was run over by some abortion doctor or someone who stopped a Pal terrorist and died in the process, does anyone think that it would be getting the attention this terrorist sympathizing piece of crap idiot is getting?
Nope, it would be buried on page 5!!
To: kattracks
Why didn't they just slip the corpse under the door at Hillary's office building?
