Just saw this on MSNBC (the only network that is actually LIVE right now, reporting news first as usual these days).

CNN International is on live now, as usual at this hour - DirecTV channel 358. They have had a few reports live from Baghdad over the last couple of hours.

Don't get CNN International here. Have to deal with CNN/FOX/MSNBC, but usually come to Freepers to find out the real deal. I may not agree with some of their talking heads (I am looking at you Bill Press, you miserable puke), but they have been absolutely top-shelf in the coverage of this over the past few days/weeks. Most informative, least politics, most extensive and by far the most timely reporting of any network. With the additions of Savage and Joe, they have become my network of choice for news, pure and simple.

Also, it doesn't hurt that they have been first out of the gate reporting virtually every big story over the past month, sometimes by 15-30 minutes.

That's not CNN, it's CNNfn. They just don't program 24 hours, so they shove in CNNI simulcasts during the off-hours. Regular CNN is running tape and sleeping on channel 202, as usual.
