The idea of Orthodox England isn't as far-fetched as it might sound at first. Harald Haardrada was a member of the Varangian Guard in Constantinople and returned to claim the English throne in 1066. In those immediate post-schism days he remained in the Eastern tradition and historians have speculated that England would have followed suit had he become king. However, he died at the battle of Stamford Bridge, the Normans won at Hastings, and the rest is, well . . .

Yes that's me. I'm working with a group which set up a false Jehadi site for eight months to infiltrate some of the al-Qaeda groups on the web. Even Abu Hamza was taken in -- he sent us 9 'training' tapes -- and we posted excerpts on the web.

One of the tapes showed James Ujamma sitting next to Abu Hamza and speaking at a conference. Under court oath, Ujamma said that he did not know Hamza very well. The Federal prosecutors then played the tape in court which showed his testimony was false.

"Until the video surfaced, evidence of any Ujaama trips to Afghanistan and his ties to Abu Hamza largely consisted of testimony of captured militants in Afghanistan and Guantánamo Bay and from people who attended a Seattle mosque with Ujaama.
