It's Time for the Silent Majority to Speak Out

Putting up with the inane comments from the Hollywood left may seem overwhelming at times. After all, we are told by the likes of Martin Sheen, Janeane Garofalo, and Mike Farrell that Saddam Hussein is not a threat to us or his neighbors. We are told that inspections can work. From their gas-guzzling limos, we are told that this is a war for oil. Now, Nashville has stepped in, through the mouth of Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, to lend its "influence" to the "debate," and many Americans are left wondering, "What's next?"
Overwhelming? Yes. Hopeless? No. For the ultimate voice of influence in America is that of the American people. It's time for the silent majority to clear its throat and let its voice be heard.
The Hollywood elites have plenty of resources to throw around, but the voices of ordinary Americans contain the real power. Yes, leftist actors can get on the air and tell us that President Bush is moving unilaterally against Iraq, but the American majority can tell these actors that they are wrong. The American majority can hit these out-of-touch celebrities where they live -- in their pocketbooks.

With the response to the Blixy Chicks, I think Hollywood might finally be getting the message.

IMO Mike farrell and J. Gorafalo are the most arrogant sphincterheads in this whole thing. They act is if they know something the rest of us don't.
These people are nothing but Anti-Bush socialist garbage!

Yawn. Here's another 'Boycott Liberals' alert.
A more eloquent freeper than I recently noted that he would need to detail a member of his household to keep track of all the products/shows/movies/music that they were boycotting.
I would argue that if someone wants to stand up and loudly announce that they're a moron, then they're welcome to. Saves me the trouble of waiting to figure it out for myself.
I'd also argue that America is a large country and has room for plenty of separate opinions. If we all were marching in lockstep, then we would have a dictatorship.
Finally, I would argue that the best reason to tune out of pop culture has nothing to do with opinion or politics. 99% of pop culture is utter crap. Anyone seen the TV show Man vs Beast? How about Joe Millionaire? Truthfully, I haven't either; the commercials were enough to make me stay away!
(now donning asbestos....flame away)

"They act as if they know something the rest of us don't"
They probably do know "something" the rest of us don't, who writes their scripts.
Confidence, is but one of the many faces used to change minds. These people are the "VOICE" of Clintons, as well as source of so much money.
Think about this way, politicians from the "LEFT" dare not stand up and say what their real goals are, thus use the voices and faces of "Hollywood" that so many Americans think harmless.
Hollywood and some preachers were very successful in playing down the criminal behavior of the Clintons, sold it quite well to two-thirds of the population in this country.
Conservatives themselves who fund the Hollywood voices and faces, can be held responsible as well.
Conservative money is used by Hollywood "stars" to fund liberals campaigns. Cut their funding.

Outside our local Kroger store, someone set up a tent to sell "Support Our President and Our troops" yard signs.
They sold 1000 at $5 a pop in less than 2 hours.
Now, signs are popping up all over my neighborhood.
In Louisville, Kentucky, the 'silent' majority is finding a voice.

You, my friend, if I may be so bold and CONFIDENT to call you this, make some very HIGH QUALITY points!
To: sirchtruth
My points may be "bold and confident", actually based upon common sense.
Conservatives should have a bit more "wisdom" than the "LEFTIST" but for some reason, don't have a clue that
money is the milk of HOLLYWOOD and there is not enough
money in the LIBERAL pockets to keep them funded.
Conservatives like to witch, whine, and moan about the "EVILS" of "HOLLYWOOD", however, do little else to
pull the plug on their funding.
Time to get back to basics, "FREE PEOPLE" take actions on their own to stop their enemies.

It's time to put out your really big American flags.
