Could very well be the case. Until they come up against Texas, I'll be rooting for the Jayhawks(and even those dang Sooners, perish the thought).

Taking another look at the RPI and SOS, if you average the SOS and Nonconference RPI then Kentucky would be a second seed. Georgia would be 1st with a 2.5, Texas with a 6.5, Oklahoma with an 8.5, Arizona with a 15.5, Kansas with a 18.5 and then Kentucky with a 26.

No one but the committee knows how they pick this but I'm ready for some basketball, wall-to-wall.
