For those of us who cannot imagine that someting like this is actually true because it's so far from our personal ethics:

A friend who worked in Teddy Kennedy's press office as a college intern (many many years ago) told me that he was absolutely not allowed to get into an elevator by himself and with only one woman. He was too prone to spontaneous sexual attack.

That's exactly the way it has been described to me.

Too bad someone didn't think of this one -- Give Ted Kennedy a new driver's license every year and change his date of birth so that he will be identified as a 17 year-old in perpetuity.

While Teddy was in college the family hired a student bodyguard to keep him out of trouble. The young man later became head of Texaco (no thanks to the Kennedys). Oh, the tales he could tell, if he ever felt like it.

That is exactly the way Leon Panetta described Clinton. Words to the effect that he always made sure that Clinton had plenty of company and was never alone; particularly with a woman or in a car.
