Ex-Clinton aide reveals Bill lost the nuclear codes
U. S. News and World Report ^ | 03/15/2003 | Paul Bedard

Posted on 03/15/2003 8:58:30 AM PST by GeneD

Former President Clinton lost the codes to nuclear war the day the Monica Lewinsky affair broke, was MIA in the fall of 1998 when a decision was needed on the killing of Osama bin Laden, and was "too busy watching a golf match" to OK a 1996 bombing mission in Iraq, says a blockbuster new book by Clinton's former military aide. Lt. Col. Robert Patterson, who carried the nuclear "football" from May 1996 to May 1998, crosses a line no other "mil aide" has before in condemning his commander in chief in Dereliction of Duty: The Eyewitness Account of How Bill Clinton Compromised America's National Security. "This story had to be told." But a Clinton national security aide, William Danvers, tells us Clinton was never "unavailable for key" decisions and didn't jeopardize U.S. security. One story: The day the Lewinsky scandal broke, Clinton was to trade in his "biscuit" with the nuclear launch codes. But they were missing. "We never did get them back," says Patterson. Then there's bin Laden: Clinton ducked calls from the Situation Room to ok a Tomahawk attack in 1998, then waffled until it was too late.

What really scares me is that the DEMOCRATS were so willing to lie for x42's admin - they were all in it with him. They did whatever it took to constantly cover up his messes. These people are as disgusting as x42 is.

Bubba Clinton is probably the originating source of the new "mystery virus/illness". Better do a "pee-check" on him quick before he goes in for his next flea dipping. Whoever has to monitor the pee-check better wear double industrial strengh gloves too.

They should have searched Hillary for the codes.

Or they should have checked the coffee table in the "Hillary Book Room".

Didn't quidam say something about this at the time? I distinctly remember a thread where we were talking about how the Toon got separated from the football one day. But if my memory is correct, is seems like Clinton took off in his limo or something, leaving the military guy to walk back (with the briefcase).

Anyone?

Not even the President can launch a nuclear weapon without a second. Likewise, there are procedures to retaliate even if the President is incapacitated which Clinton certainly was. However, it is difficult to imagine a more somber duty, or a more sensitive secret, than the management of our nuclear arsenal.

"Clintons have press immunity and widespread public ignorance or forgiveness"

Well ... Sharpton is trying to change that - everytime the press tries to bring up something distasteful about his past, he tells the press he wants the same treatment as the "Bill and Hillary protection plan". It's hysterical. And ... it immediately shuts the media up!!

The theme of the Clinton Administration (and liberalism in general):

We do what we want. BLEEEEEEEEP you.

Corollary (in a free society they are trying to ruin):

We make YOU do what WE want (or make it so costly not to do so that most end up giving in).

Corollary (when in power in their "utopian" world):

We make YOU do what WE want (or we KILL you).

See Stalin, Joseph.

I bring up the Clinton's treasonous activities to my liberal friends, too, and they can only respond that it's about sex. None of my conservative friends can get our liberal friends to discuss the issues. Which tells us everything there is to know. His actions are inexcusable and they don't want to admit it.

I think the incident you are referring to happened AFTER the author's employment.

World: Americas

Clinton drops nuclear football

Tony have you seen a briefcase around here?

US President Bill Clinton left a Nato summit meeting in such haste that he left behind perhaps the most important piece of luggage in the world - the "nuclear football".
Speeding off in his motorcade after a meeting at the Nato summit hall, the leader of the world's only superpower left behind the critical briefcase that contains America's nuclear bomb codes.

"Rather than wait for everyone to gather he just took off", said White House spokesman Joe Lockhart.

The case contains the electronic launch codes needed for a US nuclear strike and provides a link with the Pentagon through a telephone. It is carried by and chained to a military aide and supposed to be near the president whenever he is away from the White House.

When President Clinton's motorcade left without him the aide who carries the briefcase then had to walk the half-mile back to the White House from the Reagan building where the summit was being held.

"Check this out. The evidence is overwhelming. It will be interesting to watch how the liberal media handles this."

The media will demean and impune the author's character and dismiss him as a vengeful rightwinger.

No way - but an individual can denounce his citizenship - but no one can take it from him - even if he commits treason on a daily basis.
