[history]
Presidential hopeful John Kerry blasted President George Bush in a San Francisco speech today, saying the administration's policies are harming California's economy, weakening environmental protections and leaving millions of residents without health care.
In California for the state Democratic Convention in Sacramento this weekend, Kerry addressed the Commonwealth Club of California, tailoring his speech to voters in a state that has been buffeted by the recession and faces a huge budget deficit.

350 million more will do it, eh? It is odd that Kerry didn't put together a dish with more protein in it before going before the klieg lights.

Governor Davis has had a hand in the destruction of California's budget for over five years. Not ever a brainwashed democrat would pin this on President Bush. Another dumb idea from a political locked in a clinton-time warp.

He sounds desperate to me. Focus the blame on California's governor and the Californians who voted for him. Focus the blame on campaign fraud by Guv Davis.

This is amazing. Stuff hit the fan in CA way before Bush was even on the scene!!
If this works, Goebbels will be doing the happy dance in hell.
The citizens of California can't be this obtuse. (Hopefully)

What a putz! No kidding. What gutted California's economy was Davis's tax and spend philosophy in which 20+ BILLION dollars was blown in a month. Then, of course, we have the MOST anti-business laws and taxes out here imaginable. Couple that with a system that penalizes legitimate citizens and rewards illegal aliens, and you've got a recipe for disaster.
Of course, the Democrats are COMPLETELY AT FAULT for this, but will they take responsibility? Noooooooo...they'll just fall back on blaming Bush!
Typical. All too typical.
