Speaker meets Korean MP

Baghdad, March 11, INA

Speaker of Iraqi National Assembly Dr. Sadoun Hammadi has met Korean Chief of Special Labor Committee at Korean National Assembly, Member of Economic and financial committee Yong Gill Song and accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Dr. Hammadi affirmed Iraq’s clearance of Mass Destruction Weapons, and Iraq’s positive dealing with UN Security Council Resolution 1441 by providing all facilities for UN weapons inspectors who disclosed the alleged pretexts of US administration about the so-called MDWs.

He said the US had fabricated feeble pretexts to launch unjustified war on Iraq with the aim of dominating oil resources because Iraq is adopting independent policy in supporting the Palestinian cause to achieve the legitimate rights of Arab people of Palestine.

Dr. Hammadi confirmed that once the aggression occurred, Iraqi people and leadership are strongly determined to confront the aggressors.

Means of developing ties between Iraq and Korea in all fields specially the parliamentary ones through exchange of visits for the benefit of both nations were reviewed during the meeting.

For his part, Mr. Song and accompanying delegation expressed their pleasure to visit Iraq, referring that majority of Korean MBs are opposing war option on Iraq, calling for an urgent end of Iraqi people suffering owing to the unjust sanctions imposed for more than 13 years.

Present at the meeting, Chief Arab and International Relations Committee . Salim al-Kubaisi

Re #3

Unfortunately, some Koreans are fully into Euro fashion. S. Korea now has four idiot legislators who ignored warning from their parties to go there and a dozen human shields in Baghdad, while their government are discussing about sending military engineers to the coalition force and bakpedaling from their previous opposition to America's stance on N. Korea.

Idiot lefties are in full bloom, thanks to Roh's election. These people are pushing the limit. There is a tendency here of things abruptly going out of control, only to crashing back to the normal later. This is one of these days. These idiots truly live for the moment. But they think that it will last forever.
