Rally for Freedom is planning to hold an event in support of our troops and Justice and Democracy in Iraq.

The date has changed to Friday, March 21. It is still going to be held at the College of Charleston.

Here is a flyer that is being posted on the campus of College of Charleston. Click here (pdf file) to view it. We will have more details about this event latter.

The group that is putting this invites anyone who wants to organize the same at their campuses, from elementary school to grad school, to get in touch with us. They will gladly reproduce the flier to include their contact info for their campus. Maybe some in the Upstate would take on the project.

We have learned there will be a non-partisan rally in support of American troops in Charleston. The location we believe will be at the College of Charleston on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00 PM.

There are apparently some students at the College of Charleston who are putting this together.

We will post more details when they become available.

Don't know. 730 WSC AM Charleston is the "point man" on this rally and they still show it at the Joe on Saturday. Greg Alan ( Rush's local follow up show @3:00 PM Mon-Fri ) has been pushing the rally and will be back on Monday. Link here;

This doesn't look quite right to me. It smells funny. Read it carefully. From the PDF document at the original link;

Support our Troops!
Stand up for Justice and Democracyin the Middle East!

If you think you’ve only been hearing one side of the debate about the coming war in the Middle East, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Are those who are against war REALLY against the war, or is it part of a hidden partisan agenda to oppose President Bush, no matter what the issue is? What is the real record of Saddam Hussein on human rights, and does he really pose a threat to world peace? Was 9/11 really the fault of Americans? WHAT DO YOU THINK? Before the first bomb is dropped, we think it’s time for honest talk about the FACTS about what is going on in the Middle East. Rally for Freedom is a non-partisan, independent movement to present the whole truth about the Middle East, towards the goal of lasting Justice and Democracy in the Middle East. We also support our brave men and women in military service.
