Do they think it is the unwashed peace protestniks who provide their record sales?

Just what I thought! The peacenik rock crowd turns their noses up at country music. OTOH, the people who BUY the Dixie Chicks' cd's are the people out there in the "red" states that voted for BUSH. For a country artist to trash America and Bush, and in front of FOREIGNERS on a foreign shore is RIDICULOUS! ....Wouldn't that be like a gangsta rapper announcing he's against drugs and respects women and opposes crime and racism?

I guess this goes to show that Country Music and being pro-American aren't mutually exclusive, just like being an R&B singer and Democrat aren't, either--on the red carpet at the Grammys, R&B singer Brian McKnight and (Classical artist) Yo Yo Ma came out in support of the war and the President.

...The times are-a-changin', indeed!
