Man, this is too funny!!

No, Garofalo, "it wasn't hip" because you all loved the Felon and would never criticize your lover. Face it, you Hollyweirds and the media are all proven RATS and simply cannot abide Pubbies. Tough cookies! Stop your inane protests! They do you no good and the does the nation harm.

How sweet.....she can dish it out with the most outrageous comments but she gets offended when there is an adverse reaction!

she may "just bow out for the rest of my life," How about bowing out OF the rest of her life?

Looks like a case of frustration.
She went outside her genre, waded off into things outside her expertise and got her head handed to her. Now it's no fun anymore.

"Addressing a panel on media coverage of the war in Manhattan, the comedienne-turned-foreign policy expert said that she may "just bow out for the rest of my life," according to New York's Newsday."Her conviction to her cause seems to be lacking. If you firmly beleve in somthing you stick to your guns regardless of the fallout.
She's just another useful idiot that now wants to fold because many people don't agree with her misguided outlook.

So what is it? Selective anti-ism?
If a Liberal/Socialist wants war? --Hey! Way to go! But a Conservative? A bummer?
I hope she keeps her word as I really dislike her condescending superior attitude.
Talking about actors ---What is it with Ron Silvers?

Wait!
She's WAY committed to her cause AND A FEW PHONE CALLS make her want to quit!
I laugh!
To: JeanS
Let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps she watched a tape of herself and thought "That really sounds stupid. What was I thinking?!?"
What?
It could happen.
No, really.
It could.

You've got to worry about poor Janeane (where did that name come from?). You know she's not wrapped too tight and is liable to do something harmful to herself.
O'Reilly p* me off the other night talking to some dimwit saying that he doesn't want to see anybody lose work (he was specifically talking about Penn) as a consequence of their political beliefs. That is just plain wrong! If some unfortunate soul, hopelessly besmirched by addiction to alcohol or drugs, kept on getting into scrape after scrape wouldn't you want to withhold your patronage of his Art as a sign of censure if nothing else? Being terminally stupid, being a card-carrying member or being a useful idiot should draw the same opprobrium from a discerning public. Freak the a__h*s! Let 'em starve. O'Reilly doesn't always fire on all cylinders.

"Garofalo complained that she's had to change her home phone number after getting several harassing calls."
These must be her friends calling her...I don't imagine her number is listed...unless she's really hard up for attention from her adoring fan.
To: JeanS
Now that she won't be protesting, maybe she can spend some time washing the lice out of her hair.

Well, then, she has been "trivialized" on EVERY SINGLE MEDIA OUTLET THERE IS. It must be a conspiracy.
