I only caught the last 5 minutes, because of the inconvenient time frame of his MSNBC show, Saturday. So I am asking you, is MSNBC correct in describing Savage as Attila the Tongue

Savage is certifiably schizophrenic.
IOW, nuts.
He's got to earn his stripes, just like the rest of the conservatives on the air. Bellyaching about not getting coverage in the "conservative media" by a guy with one show in his pocket is pathetic whining.

Savage is certifiably schizophrenic. Seven out of five schizophrenics surveyed disagree with your statement.

Savage's real last name is Weiner. He is acting like one.
To: sinkspur
Yeah, how long was Rush on the air before he got really big?

I watched the first half hour and I thought the show was pretty lame - no flow, too much shouting. I've always thought the kind of show conservatives need is one where there is enough time to allow people to make points and explain there positions.
Most people, I believe would be conservatives if they were to truly understand a lot of the issues. Unfortunately the Savage Nation is more intent on instigating a response than formulating a compelling argument.
Thumbs Down.

Has there only been one show so far? I didn't see it.

I think Savage has one of the best messages around. I just don't like his delivery.

Please dont confuse Savage with a conservative, he's a populist with some of his views bordering on Fascism. Just because he agrees with some conservative views doesn't mean he has a conservative mindset.

Must be why I like him so much. I am starting to think I have facist tendencies. LOL

Even if he got it, just what would that look like?
Other than having guest hosts fill in on ear-doctor days,
I've never seen any of the other talk folks promote
each other.
And the web and print publications, like NR, don't
go out of their way to promote radio shows, beyond
accepting ads for same.

Has there only been one show so far? I didn't see it. First show aired this past Saturday on MSNBC. More time slots beginning this Saturday, mostly aimed for the "golfers" only receiving it at 2 PM PST. He's riding high on his book sales.

I think there has only been one show so far. If you are interested in seeing the show I'd recommend catching it soon because the people at MSNBC gotta have the hook ready for this guy.
The show is really bad.....
To: Boundless
He was on FOX..I believe that was a boost.

Savage is certifiably schizophrenic. He's got more than a few wires fraying, that's for sure!
At first I found him "unique"
Then "interesting"
Then "a diamond in the rough"
Then "a rose with more than a few thorns"
Till now I find him as trying as Bill Clinton and as irratating as an hysterical Gene Wilder
Sure, I only listened to him on and off for about 5 months or so, but, heck, you don't have to eat the whole meal to know if the chef is any good.

Michael Savage is the obnoxious guest at the party who will shout to be heard above all the other guests.
He's a boorish clod.
His message is OK, but I'd rather read it.

Just because he agrees with some conservative views doesn't mean he has a conservative mindset. I've tried him, five or six times. I get sick to death of his fawning, Howard-Stern-like sycophants, who lather on the "OOOO, Michael, you're so goooood!" and Savage just sucks it all in, before putting another drone on the air.
I just don't get his popularity. Plus, he's got a face for radio.
