Great job getting this thing going, Gail! It was only started yesterday and she already has a great speaker, an excellent venue, and a lot of support building up in the community. Not very many people have the care, energy and drive to do put something like this together so fast. Not to mention the work she put in during the income tax votes last year. If it was not for people like you, Boss Hogg and the other TN Liberal swine would be putting their hands even deeper in our pockets this year
Hats off to GailA! If we give out any kind of Freeper Awards, here's a nomination.
Rally update: WREC 600 AM talk host Mike Fleming will be the MC at the Millington Support Our Troop rally. Mike's producer at WREC will be handling the PR..another load off me. They will tie it in with Glenn Becks' national rallies...so keep an ear pealed for a plug for the Millington rally.
We will have a set number of Yellow Ribbons to hand out and 4" x 6" US flags for the kids. Looking into R, W, B baloons.
Stadium has bunting we can hang. Local flower shop is providing us 2 large Yellow Bows.
Col Lopez says we have to invite the big Pols, Frist, Lamar, Tanner, on the federal level, and State level we have to invite Sen Mark Norris, Sen john ford, Reps Curry Todd and bubba pleasant. Locally the mayors of the several small towns that border Millington. They won't be speaking just acknowledged/glad handing stuff IF they show.
