Richmond Mayor Rudolph C. McCollum Jr. says President Bush has not made a convincing case for a war in Iraq. He is asking the City Council to take a stand on the issue.

Help!
Please liberate the City of Richmond – we need your help immediately! We have appealed to our neighboring countries - Chesterfield and Henrico – but they won’t invade to rescue us!
We are dominated by an insane and oppressive regime. You want criminals? We got ‘em! Our Council is famous for its felons. And now, our megalomaniacal Mayor, Rudy the ‘Rat, the man who can’t fill a pothole wants to conduct our foreign policy. He demands a personal accounting from the President as to the cost of a war in Iraq. Though the answer is obvious - slightly more than Councilman El Amin’s junket to a nude beach in Jamaica, and slightly less than the pending increase in real estate taxes – still Jackass the City Council persists.
I am begging you for your assistance. Save us from Mad McCollum! The Vichy French ChIraq and Vile Pan won’t mind – they’re too busy selling military equipment to Iraq. The neo-Nazi Germans won’t care – they’re too busy selling weapon-making equipment to Iraq. No one will object. Please help us!
