You have all been pinged because, to the best of my knowledge, you all live in New York City and have a City Councilweasel who needs a little feedback from their constituents. Please give your weasel and Gifford Miller a call today.

For those who hate being pinged, I apologize in advance. But look on the bright side. You don't even have to ask to be removed from my ping list, because I don't keep one. This is a one-shot deal.

If I pinged anyone who does not in fact live in the city, perhaps you have friends or relatives here who might be interested. Please forward this thread to them.

For those who live in the city and were not pinged, well...I hope you see this!

Hum, let me see.
Two tall buildings gone with 3,000 HUMAN BEINGS.
I forget where they were located.
At least RUDY wouldn't put up with such BS.
I guess they don't have enough to worry about in NYC.

i think that the country would have been even more upset if the terrorists on 9/11 had attacked america instead of new york city.

to oppose a pre-emptive military attack on Iraq unless it is demonstrated that Iraq poses a real and imminent threat to the security and safety of the United States or its allies

Ok. Israel is our ally. Their security is threatened. End of story.

I just called the office of my Kew Garden's council woman Melinda Katz and I asked her intern how she was voting. The kid told me she is voting against US action in Iraq. This made my blood boil. I told the kid that Mz. Katz will not be getting my vote next time - not that I would vote for her anyway - she is a Democrat.

My parents fled communist repression in Cuba - this is my nation - I am not going to let some Left wing baby boomer vote against freedom however stupid and weak the council's vote is.

Well, my idiot council critter, Alan Gerson, will be voting for it according to the woman who answered the phone. Doesn't seem to see anything sickening about the councilman whose district includes the gaping 16-acre hole in the ground voting for this embarrassment. She seemed kind of outraged and/or confused that I was connecting the two.

But, on the optimistic side, there is a group of REAL Republicans in this city who are trying to take back the party and are focusing on the city council elections this year. www.urban-republican.com

I was passing by Gale Brewer's office so I decided to go in an register my opposition to the resolution. Their reaction was, "Oh, sure, there's a petition to sign right over . . . did you say AGAINST?"

That's the Upper Left Side for you. I was probably the first loyal American to pass that way in lo these many years.

Thanks for the handy dandy list, hell. I will be using it.
