Anyone convicted of a crime should be allowed to use DNA in an appeal if there is material available. Mistakes DO happen.
Anyone convicted of a crime should be allowed to use DNA in an appeal if there is material available. Mistakes DO happen. In this case it's worse than "mistakes". They KNEW the lab work was shoddy, they KNEW samples were being contaminated and they told lies on the witness stand.
This kind of behavior is completely intolerable in a law enforcement agency.
