Sure. Living in a oil producing state, I believe that the technology is advanced enough to produce oil and protect the environment at the same time. It will be costly, but it is doable.

Now, if you are saying that you want to pump oil and forget about the environment. Then definitely not.

Actually, we really should leave the final decision to the people of Alaska.

However, like I said, politics will not allow arctic drilling. If I could recall correctly, didn't the governor of Floria got a waiver to disallow off-shore drilling in Floria from his younger brother?

more like democrat rats did it after yet another Filibuster.

By a vote of 46 to 54, senators not only failed to overcome a Democratic-led filibuster, but also fell short of mustering the 51 votes needed to argue that the majority of the Senate supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

A suggestion to you. If you really, really, really want to know the answers to your questions address to the United States President and to the administration. And I can tell you have access to the internet, the world wide web, access to just about anything you would like to know.

And my answer to your question is: for the Iraqi people, and their children, and their children's children. And for my children and my children's children, etc. It may have took a long time coming, but better late than never is the answer to your why now.

My son will be enroute to Iraq soon, although I hate to see him go I am also very proud of him. And you can bet your bottom dollar he will be fighting members of Al Queda in Iraq.

GWB has not said this to the American people, but it was not and has not been necessary for him to come right out and say it to or for me. But right after 9/11, it was my fear that Al Queda would overthrow the government in Pakistan and gain access to their WMDs, but instead of Pakistan it is Iraq that will sell such weapons to terrorist organizations and support terrorist. OBL in his last statement informed us, Saddam and everyone that had access to cable television what his intents are.

I believe Saddam is still accepting applications for the position of human shields since there has been a turnover in that department if you should feel the need to apply.
