Southern California Pro War Rally
http://www.tsgx.net/prowar ^

Posted on 03/08/2003 9:19:32 PM PST by tsg

For the past 3 weeks, we have been having small pro-war rallies at a park here in La Palma, California. Although there weren't many of us, we sure were able to get a lot of support from passerbyers and drivers.

We emphasize that the rally is PRO-WAR, and not a "support our troops" rally, as suggested by many. There are several of us, mostly all students from JFK High School, and we are educated and aware enough to know that WAR is the only feasible solution for the Iraqi situation. Supporting our troops is very necessary, but even those who are against war support them. They do not, however, realize that war is quite necessary and justified for the removal of the tyrant Saddam Hussein, for the protection of our country and the world, and for the liberation of the innocent Iraqi people. Nonetheless, we hold our signs which say "support our soldiers"; to believe otherwise would be un-American.

We thus continue to stand in our support for the Bush administrations stance, as we did today, and every Saturday this month. Next Saturday, we are hoping for a large turnout for a last effort of patriotism, before the war begins – likely the following Monday. We would very much appreciate it if anyone capable would come in support. The rally takes place at:

Central Park 7821 Walker Street La Palma, Ca 90623

On Saturday, March 15th, from 1-4 pm.

Central Park, La Palma is in North Orange County, near the intersection of La Palma and Walker streets.

Map and directions can be found here: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&addtohistory=&address=7821%2BWalker%2BStreet&city=la%2Bpalma&state=ca&zipcode=90623&homesubmit=Get%2BMap

All the information can be found here: http://www.tsgx.net/prowar/ You can email me at mark@tsgx.net .

Please, if you are in the area, or can be, bring a sign or a flag, and some friends, and come out and express your righteous pro-war belief.

Also, since the beginning of the year, we have been going out to Long Beach, Ca, on Second Street on the sidewalk across from the Washington Mutual. Large numbers of anti-war protesters are there, but since we first started showing up many weeks ago, the pro-war numbers have been growing. The protests will continue there every Friday night, and we will be there as long as they are.

I hope to see you all there, especially next week at La Palma.

-Mark Stefanos

Thanks for the information, Mark. I will be travelling to that area in a few days (I live in Salem, OR), and I hope to see you at one of those rallies!
I salute you hs students for your initiative and the strength of your beliefs. There are not enough conservatives actively countering the 'win without war' attitude and the motley 'piece' protestors.

So Cal Conservative BUMP!!!

Dump the PRO-WAR part and change it to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS and you might attract more support.

Good job.

However (and it is a matter of semantics and 'PR', ) but I think we should not say "PRO WAR" I think we should emphasis PRO AMERICA, or LIBERATION. Nobody likes war in the end.

Don't let the libs paint us into a defensive corner as standing for something no human basically wants.

Just my thought.
