Newt would have given der shlickmeister better opposition.Well, Rush would have been the best choice, but Newt would have have been good enough. Problem is that Slick wouldn't have agreed to either. And, make no mistake, this is nothing more than attempt to get Clinton on TV every week.
Look at it this way, this whole enterprise elevates Dole and diminishes Clinton.

I agree -- Newt would have been much better. I won't ever watch anything with Clinton on. I was not a big supporter of Dole either! I held my nose and voted for him in 1996 is the best I can say!
