Schroeder and his gang of merry communists have destroyed the trans-atlantic alliance. I'm leaning more and more toward the "France wants a new world alignment" theory, adding to the "France has a lot to hide" theory.
They're going to get their "new world alignment," all right.

Whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa......
Lemme get this straight....The Germans.....won't come to the aid of American troops....if they are attacked...... with weapons that Germany says Iraq doesn't have????
Gawd... this is almost as funny as the c**t Pelosi saying that if we attack the Iraqi's will attack us with the weapons that they don't have....
Is anyone else confused???

It's really nice to know who our 'friends' are!
Even though I am/was not for this war against Iraq, I know I will not forget.
Now that the decision is made, I support our President, our military and our country.

Goodbye NATO. And America, I apologize for driving a Nazi manufacturer owned Dodge product. As soon as it is feasible, I will dump it and buy from a true ally: The Japanese. Screw Germany, France, and Belgium. They can defend themselves from future enemies with their white flag laden armies. I personally hope that we shut down every base AND every contract with German transmitting sites for the VOA, Radio Liberty, and Radio Free Europe. I don't want one more dime going to these nations. And I don't want their "tourists" given an easy visa to visit here. You're either with us or against us. It's time to start drawing lines in the sand and enforcing them.

"Fickle, aren't we?"
You're right we're fickle. And to alleviate the defecit, it's time to dust off all of those old reparation bills gathering dust since 1945.

Kinda funny how everyone on this thread is bashing Germany, yet, when they took to the US skies (flying AWACS) to protect us after 911, they were considered a strong ally. And how did they "protect" us after 9/11?
That's like an ant protecting an elephant.

gertz saying that the spare parts from france to iraq were military parts and then he brought up powells discussion of something being outfited with a spraying device....

It would appear that World War III is well under way. Too bad the U.N. decided to become the latter day League of Nations. I hope we dust off all of the old loan paperwork to the Frogs from the Marshall Plan and the reparations legislation for Germany and send the bill to those bastards in Europe.

By flying the 2 AWACS planes that were patrolling the coasts of the US.

Given this; from Germany, the nation most likely to have supplied Saddam with materials, machines, Indeed. And now we hear that Saddam has set his troops up with American uniforms. Good ones.
Anyone thought of checking inventory in NATO stores in Germany?

You're right:
Starting today, take one or two German products to the front checkout counter with your other stuff; then, in front of and within ear shot of other shoppers, say "oh my. Hey, this one's MADE IN GERMANY. We don't want it".
Just leave it there for the restock bin.
