Must we have a perpetual living example
Of why liberals should never be allowed to have
Authority in the realm of foreign policy?
surely this is too much to bear

For the rats will delegate their constitutional authority
To whatever international organization
Makes them feel most like "citizens of the world"
Rather than servents of our people
They will eat out the heart of America
And sacrifice it to foreign idols
We ask you to save us from the smooth words
And give us strength to endure to the next election
We thank You for giving us this one opportunity this morning
To learn that astronauts are not neccessarily what they are cracked up to be
That they are better off working in space
Than in congress
Because they are too far out
And have been short of oxygen way too long
To have a clue about how to deal with hostile nations
We thank you for this lesson, Lord
And beseech You to spare us from yet another one of Nelson's tirades
About how we are not coddling the Germans
as they deserve to be coddled
For graciously selling the Iraqis the means to gas US troops
Or about how we are not properly bowing and scraping
To please French surrender monkies
Or how we are not trying to avoid offending The Axis of Weasels
Over that little deal where the French
Sold the Iraqis jet engines this January
So that Saddam Hussein can last long enough
To pay off some of their debts To Old Europe
This should be much more realistic
And require much less effort
Than my prayer that You grant the Democrats uncharacteristic wisdom
