I haven't seen anything new. I suggest that in doing that the military would be seen in interfereing in the elections to be held this coming Sunday.
I'll post any news I can find soon as I do.

Protecting Turkish democracy is far more important to the U.S. than allowing the U.S. to have full access to open a northern front in Iraq. This would not have been a good time for the military to step in and correct the civil authorities in Turkey.

Didn't I see earlier today that equipment is transiting Turkey for N. Iraq, and troops will be flying in to link up in Free N. Iraq? No invasion force needs be staged in Turkey if we just scoot on through...
